SRV 850
Aprilia recently launched its superbike-styled SRV 850 Maxi Scooter in Porto Ercole, Tuscany. SRV 850 is equipped with the first and only 850cc two cylinder 90° V 4 valve electronic injection scooter engine. Aprilia states that the SRV 850 will have an 850cc v-twin engine putting out 75 hp and 56 foot-pounds of torque. Aprilia SRV 850 takes its origins based on the GP 800, the maxi two cylinder launched by Piaggio Group in 2007 which established itself as the most powerful scooter in the world.

In SRV form, power is supplied by the sohc, eight-valve, liquid-cooled, 90-degree, 840cc V-Twin from the Aprilia Mana. The SRV also shares the Mana’s CVT-type automatic transmission. The 88.0 x 69.0mm V-Twin benefits from the evolution of the integrated injection/induction system and now produces a claimed 76 horsepower at 7750 rpm, 1 hp more than it did in Gilera form. The new system guarantees maximum efficiency in terms of fuel economy and emissions control so much that they already meet the future (stricter) requirements of Euro 4 approval.
