Yamaha Motorcycles introduced this super sports bike in 2003 in United States motorcycle market. The Yamaha FJR 1300 helped refine the sport-touring category. For riders who still prefer a good dose of power, comfort and handling in their sport tourism machine, the FJR1300 is the perfect choice. ABS was not included in the 2003 Yamaha FJR 1300, but in 2004 to onwards, Yamaha is offering ABS as an option. 2012 FJR1300 A also included ABS and adjustable seat and handlebars. 2012 model also included standard heated grips, adjustable fairings, adjustable windscreen and standard hard side bags. FJR1300A is designed especially for serious sport-touring.
Instrument section contains an automated analogue speedometer and tachometer; LCD digital odometer, double tripmeters, products location indication, energy, coolant and air temperatures features, and clock; lights for basic, high stream, turn alerts, low oil and engine warnings—as well as real-time usage, average usage and air temperatures.
